Not sure if the track is closed or not but went here and track is closed for cars.. You got a 2hr walk up to top.. Was looking for good pave for sunset. Not the place..

Incredible view after a very tough four wheel driving experience to the top. The views provide a 360 degree view of the Rio Tinto Tom Price mine and the Hamersley Gorge with amazing geology. Four wheel driving will need to be in 4L to navigate the rough tracks while ascending and descending.

You need a good 4WD to drive to the top unless you want to hike to the top.Once you reach the top the views are nothing but spectacular with 360 degree views of the Rio Tinto Mine and Tom Price as well as beyond for miles

4WD track to the top. A couple of sniffy Toyota Land Cruiser drivers said the Subaru wouldn't be suitable. Ha! Just drove straight up, no special drive settings. Evidence provided.Great 360 views at the top. Well worth the effort.

Good hike, not easy if you’re not experienced and if you also have to carry a child for part of the time, but still do-able. No facilities, bring a picnic if you want and please take your rubbish with you. Bring a jumper as well, it is chilly up there.
