If in the area then do this hike. The hike is relatively short for the more athletic people (we did it in 2 hours return) but i can see the last stretch being a challenge for some as you have to climb. It offers awesome 360° views at the top.

Awesome view. It took me about two hours to go up and down. Not an easy thing to do.Carry at least two litres of water per person with you.

Amazing and relatively easy hike to the top of Mt Barren.Amazing panoramic views over Hopetoun and the surrounds up the coast of the Fitzgerald River National Park and nearby ranges.Some areas had thick shrubs to hike through so I would recommend long sleeves to avoid scratches

Fantastic climb to the top with unparalleled views on all sides. If you time your descent to coincide with the sunset then youll be in for a special treat where the walkboard glows under the light of the setting sun. Great rocks of all shapes and sizes at tops. Get all the way to the very end of trail for you will be treated to an amazing view of Culham inlet and Hopetoun!

Short, steep hike to the summit! Totally worth the views. (2.7km return)There are some slippery parts with loose rocks, so watch your steps on the way down!

Amazing views! Took us about an hour and a half up and down including a few short stops. Trail could be slightly better maintained - lots of scratchy bushes if you’re wearing shorts and we only saw one way marker
